October 01, 2025

🟢 ACME v0.8 is officially landing

We're excited to announce our biggest update yet, focused entirely on speed, performance, and workflow efficiency. This version includes essential bug fixes, core performance improvements, and numerous UX updates designed to streamline your tasks.

🔵 Up to 3 times faster for µZ System Users

For our µZ system users, this is a game-changer: we've achieved significantly faster analysis speeds. The Cross Power Spectrum is now calculated and cached during measurement, drastically cutting down on calibration and waiting times. This is the workflow acceleration you’ve been waiting for!

🟢 New Workflow Accelerators

We’ve added features to simplify your day-to-day work:

  • Auto Compute: Automatically processes and plots new measurements.
  • Logical Shortcuts
  • Improved Calibration Tool: Write sensor sensitivity directly to your DAQ configuration.
  • Plus many layout and plotting improvements

Ready to dive deeper? The user manual has been significantly updated, including the new recommended settings for µZ systems.

µZ system update and capabilities extended

July 30, 2025

So we are proud to have released our new µZ-20 impedance tube! Without switching microphones, we are able to characterize the very wide frequency range from 20 Hz up to 8 kHz. Ever wanted to fully characterize acoustic meshes / membranes / vents for hearables?

  • For ⌀=2 mm, we can characterize small samples of acoustic vents in the range of 0 to 4000 MKS Rayls.
  • In the frequency range of 20 Hz up to 8 kHz
  • All in a single measurement!

We would also like to thank our first clients, who cooperated in making this beautiful product possible. For more information, please have a look at: the µZ product page.

Presentation at Dutch Acoustical Society (NAG) masterclass

We would be happy to talk to you over a cup of coffee or tea, and present our recent developments on the μZ-system. Besides visiting our booth, at the Precision Fair you will also discover:

  • Many solutions and applications of high and ultra precision technology
  • 50 inspiration sessions where you will hear the latest developments and insights by subject experts, exhibitors and young talents. With lecture tracks from EUSPEN and the Big Science projects, among others. By the way: ASCEE will host one of these sessions!.
  • Many demo areas, amongst other the International Cooperation Area and the Young Talent Area
  • Various demo areas such as the International Cooperation Area and the Young Talent Area
  • Free networking drinks on Wednesday, November 13th
